If you are running Windows XP or 2000, the chances are that you may not be optimized for maximum speed while trying to surf the net. The reason being is that these two platforms are built on NT technology which is primarily configured for networking purposes not for long range communication across external servers on the web. There are many resources out there so try Googleing “speeding up your computer.”
