Comcast is launching a new back up service, powered by Mozy.  The new service, called Secure Backup and Share, was launched yesterday.  It is for Comcast’s high speed customers, and will be of great benefit to those who want to preserve data and save it from computer crashes.  2 GB of storage is free, with larger amounts available for fees.  The 50 GB plan is priced at just $4.99 a month, or $49.99 a year, and likely will be very appealing to customers who are serious about online storage.  Currently, the service only works with PC computers.  This is an example of the added value that many internet service providers are bringing to their services, along with speed, pricing, and bundles.
