The fastest production car as of October 2007 the SSC Ultimate Aero TT clocked in at 256.15 mph. It is important to not that when discussing production cars, we are referring to vehicles that are mass produced and street legal, not concept cars or modified cars. This surpasses the record holding Bugatti Veyron running at 253.81 mph. This is a nice Lamborghini looking vehicle produced by Shelby Super Cars. With the base price at $650,000, it is unlikely you will ever own an Ultimate Aero, but it is sure nice to dream about one of 25.
